Holidays, Crazy Ideas, and School ending

We are VERY excited for the holidays around here. We just put up our Christmas tree, and need to finish putting up the lights. The kids are very excited for Santa to come, and keep on reminding each other that Santa is watching them when they are being naughty.

So, for like 5 years I have wanted a hole in my wall between my front room and kitchen. After my husband got done carpet cleaning I started to talk about that project again. We decided to just start it, and now I have a hole. I think it is called a picture wall, but I am not sure. Anyways I love it, but we aren't done with the construction yet. I am sure when it is all done it will be fabulous.

The semester is ALMOST over. I only have to go to class 5 more times. YEAH!!! I have so much work to do before the end, but I am thrilled that it is so close. I am going to take the Spring semester off so that I am home with our baby for a few months. I am looking forward to having some time off because I feel like I run around with my head cut off most days.

Over the nausea

So, I am now 17 weeks along. It seems that just recently my nausea has gone away. I wasn't ever this bad with the other two, but at least that part is over with. We are still planning on being suprised about the gender. The kids are way excited to have a new baby around, and have told me how much they are going to help out. I will keep you all posted with any info we find out.

School is going to be starting SOON

Porter is going to be in 1st grade, and he starts school this week. He is very nervous to go all day. He is so friendly and so I am not worried about him making friends. He has a few kids from Kindergarten in his class this year also. He just found out who is teacher is, and we get to meet her the night before school starts. We will see if he is Teacher's pet this year also!

Alyssa is going to start Pre-school this year! She is VERY nervous about going, but we just keep telling her stories about Porter when he went. She is super excited, but I think she is worried about being there alone. She felt left out last year when Porter and I got school stuff, so this year has been nice. She has a cute Dora backpack, and some adorable clothes to wear. I can't believe how big she is!

I start school in about 2 weeks. I am going full-time this semester, and then because of the baby I will take Spring semester off. The Fall is going to be VERY busy around our house, but hopefully we will all survive. My husband has started a rotating schedule, so he will be home some weekdays this year to help get the kids ready in the morning. I am so excited that he will be here to help out!

A baby on the way!

We are very excited to announce that we are having a baby. I am due March 6th. My kids are so excited to help out! They are both so big and I am sure they will be great help to have around. We have decided that since we have one of both we are going to be suprised about the gender. We have also decided to keep the name a suprise as well, so when the baby is born we will be full of suprises. I will keep you posted with any info that we find out.

Porter's 6th Birthday

Porter celebrated his 6th b-day this year. I can't believe how fast he has grown up. He is going to start 1st grade next week. He decided that he wanted a Backhoe cake for his birthday so that is what he got. He loved all of his presents, and still gets them out everyday.

WaCkY weather

So, if the weather will ever figure out what it is doing we will be able to go outside and play. I am excited to get some fun pictures of the kids playing. This past weekend I went and took my cousins engagements pictures. It was a fun time, and I hope that she likes them. Keep in touch for some fun pictures.
